"Thank You Lord!"

  Giving thanks is rooted deep in Scripture. Biblical greats are those found praising and thanking God: Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, the Prophets and Apostles.

  We have so much for which we should be thankful. “Every good and perfect gift comes from Him.” Can I give you a challenge? Start tomorrow by waking up each morning with a “thank you Lord” in our heart and on our lips.

  Thank You Lord for life! Life is from God. “God made the world and everything in it”... ”in Him we live, move and have our being.” Thank you, Lord: For the sunshine, the rain, the seasons, the air we breathe, our homes, family, friends, flowers, birds that sing, all that makes life so good.

  Thank You Lord for family! “What God has joined together, let not man put asunder.” Family has always been there for me. What a blessing to gather with those God has given us. Thank you, Lord, for the love that flows, the tie that binds us together in family. May we never, never, interrupt or take for granted, those you have providentially bound together as our family. And may we do everything possible to protect the unity of this blessing. Amen?

  Thank you Lord for country! “There is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.” Scripture tells us that the rise and fall of nations are in His hands. What a blessing we have inherited! We are citizens of the greatest country ever to exist. We have more freedom, liberty, privilege, wealth, more blessings, than any other nation in history. Indeed, we have lived in the best of times. Let us never lose sight of who makes it all possible. Thank you, Lord, for country.

  Thank You Lord for our salvation. “Praise God who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ. Jesus is God's Son given to save us: “Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

• He is Messiah: “Live lives worthy of God, who calls you into His kingdom and His glory.”

• He is Kinsman Redeemer: “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.

He is our Savior: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

  Remember our challenge? Have you accepted it?

Thank you Lord for loving me;

Thank you Lord for blessing me,

Thank you Lord for making me whole,

And saving my soul.
